■It was a deep, personal desire of mine to point out, and make unequivocally clear, that these complex illnesses exist in our society and that they are barely acknowledged by conventional medicine.

■I want to raise awareness that countless people have to live a life they ultimately find completely overwhelming due to a missing or delayed diagnosis. I want to give a voice to precisely these people and finally refocus attention on the individual, instead of purely profit-driven medical projects.
