Just referred to feeling cautiously optimistic as "microdosing hope," in case you're wondering how it's going.

@evacide Some times, a little bit of hope is enough.

That said, my dad, the scientist likes to say "Hope is not a method", meaning that we actually have to *do* something, not just hope.

@evacide
Sometimes a little is all to be found, but each little bit can help!

@evacide microdosing hope yes,

But looking at that gallon jug of vengeance they keep locked behind the counter..

@evacide I prefer micro-hosing dope

@evacide

Some melodramatic post-hardcore, a 24 case of beer, and at least 20 roman candles and a lake at sunset.

You'll feel better about whatever it was by the end of it.

@evacide I feel like microdosing hope is really important. We live in a world full of all kinds of evil things happening all the time in front of our faces, it's easy to forget how many amazing, spectacularly wonderful things are quietly taking place every year amongst the terribles, often without anybody really paying attention to it.

Slightly different point than you were making, but still, hope is important, or else we all just burn out and give up fighting.

@evacide I can’t even let myself do that. Hurts a bit.
@evacide I'm microdosing hope by bookmarking that.
