Every #AI agent that reads your site burns 80% of its context window on HTML scaffolding before it reaches your actual content. The fix has been in the HTTP spec for 27 years.

Almost nobody turned it on.

Enable generation of llms.txt · Issue #14121 · gohugoio/hugo

With the rise of Generative AI, llms.txt is gaining popularity. It would be nice if it's generation is supported by template system

Less than an hour later, my #HermesAgent fixed it, documented the fix on #GitHub, and wrote a blog about it on #GoHugo. #llmstxt #markdown

@maurice
1) you're writing bad HTML if there is that much scaffolding
2) how do I make my site more hostile to these things? I don't want the things accessing my site. Do I just shove loads of nonsense up front to use up 111% of the "context window"?
@M0YNG it’s one thing to be ignorant of something, and that’s easily solved. It’s another thing all together to flaunt your ignorance like it’s something to be proud of.
