@jennylam Wow! I tried to throw porcelain once. It was like working with soft creamcheese. I'm a stoneware gal. :)
@LJ That's exactly what folks at Lillstreet said the texture would be like, haha! It's a challenge but I like how the glaze turns out on it :)
@jennylam I'm the glaze chemist at our community studio & to use porcelain, I'd have to test & reformulate all of our glazes. I do like how the bright white clay really lets the colors shine, but the amount of work it would take with the glazes is a hard nope. :) Sometimes I'll do the cheater thing & cover a piece with white slip.
