This is made much easier by the fact that I still don't have a podcast.

I started the day with a “simple 5 min job” - replacing a broken mainspring in a clients clock🕰️, after the anchor stud broke out of the side of the barrel & the new spring jumping out & slicing my finger open! I🥴☠️t was now lunch time - & eating my sarnies with my good hand🫣🤣 and finishing the job just before hometine at 4:30pm - a full 7 hours after I started the effing thing! (Rant over!) let’s hope that tomorrow is more positive for us both🤞
@nigelpurdy I will happily wish you a better tomorrow, but I', only at 2pm over here. Meant to be fitting new light and extractor fan in a bathroom, but right now I can't find the breakers for it. Not really happy about just "doing it and hoping for the best".
@Dtraslerwriting …the slightly annoying/ironic part in all this shenanigans is that I’m actually a model maker - but I’m doing small repairs to supplement my meagre income!

@mavu When my semi-nephew was 13, I asked him what he wanted to do for a job. He said he wanted to be a YouTuber. I asked what videos he made.
"Oh, I don't make any videos."
He didn't see that as an issue. When he wanted to be a YouTuber, he'd just start and become famous.
This is one of the reasons I haven't added anything to my YouTube channel in years.

Less pressure, and i actually enjoy pretending I'm a youtuber while playing games, it's fun commenting the goings on out loud :)
And there is less and less money in yt anyway, except if you do shorts maybe, or manage to produce exactly what the algo favours.
