Talking to a very extroverted good friend and describing to her the nervous feeling of joining a new group of people you don't know, at a place you've never been, doing an activity you've never done.

And she gave me the extrovert mindset - that she assumes she's the most interesting person in the room BECAUSE no one knows her.

Damn that's magic. lol

@syntaxseed I started playing disc golf recently... because I can hermit way across a course. One time I pulled up and there were several cars there and I very nearly just turned around and left.
