3 unexpected changes of tracks in Düsseldorf main station. 6 to 19 to 17 to 19. Bike with stuff is around 40kg and it’s a tad bit longer than the shitty elevators here. I’m not freezing anymore.
Today was a lot of weather… Like, everything. Soaking wet and I am pretty sure my nose is sunburnt (hearing my wife laughing…) Teutoburger forest is quite beautiful.

Still can't believe that Bückeburg exists and is not only a #DieÄrzte song but has a beautiful castle and market. Had a beautiful day today. Lots of wonderful forest, water and pretty otherwise empty forest and rural ways. Lovely. Also started a new book.

There’s a lot of nothing in Northern Germany. If we forbid combustion cars, the only gas station I came across in 50km will be closed I guess. A pity for cyclists. #JokingButOnlyHalve
And day 3 in the books. That was a stretch. Beautiful area, but at some point I was like wat? No bakery, no gas station… Nothing. Craving for something sugary and fatty was over the top… Lüneburg saved me eventually. Quite the good day otherwise.

Day 4. In which I made it over 600m altitude gain in the lowlands of Northern Germany. Ok.
Alles klar außer NameMoin! Along the German Baltic coast, however, the terrain is quite hilly. It’s not flat there.
Ah, it‘s the EV13 with some variations. I still have that section on my list - the ride from HH to HL - to finish up my trip around Schleswig-Holstein.

@javahippie Will cheat on the Ruhrgebiet area and especially the part between Aachen and Cologne. Going from Hamm to Lübeck to Malmö, back over Trelloborg, Rostock to Berlin… Will be a bit more than 1100km I think.
