Another thing to consider in politics are things I learned from Agile methodology. Networked, distributed organizations and teams are powerful, enduring and have emergent behavior.

There's a point where networks "come alive" and are surprisingly powerful and just SURPRISING. No Kings caught Republicans flat-footed THREE TIMES. Resistance to ICE built on existing networks in MN.

I suspect American politics are entering that phase. It's on "the left" but that term may not apply anymore.

Now as an Agilist and systems dude, there are two things to consider:

First, the networks active now are not people thrilled with the status quo. Period. These are not "back to normal" people, even if they THINK they are.

Secondly, you want these networks to stay after a successful anti-authoritarian push. We don't need to over-operationalize them or they fail.

You NEED the unpredictability.
