Hi Infamous, I use both Tuta and Proton, and do not know where you are coming from on this. I checked out Jan for more than a month of messages and see nothing at all on this topic.
I prefer Proton because they never post bad things about competitors (unlike Tuta) - the negative advertising really puts me off trusting a company.

I thought the post-boost from Tuta was weird as well, starting to think it might just be another negative-advertising (as I say, this is what puts me off trusting Tuta, despite their good product).

@Guillotine_Jones OK - You posted that Proton was pushing AI - and Tuta foolishly picked it up and reposted as negative advertising (to which I very object strongly, it is a trump-approach). As far as I can tell, you fabricated and unfairly blamed Jen.

Sir, if you are a man, madam, if you are not, a comment by @the_infamous higher in this thread is the only one I can find about Proton pushing Ai.
Since I didn't make that claim, I feel awkward retracting it, but you have politely asked for a retraction, and I freely give it.

I am no more responsible for the actions of Tuta than I am for the posts of @the_infamous. But a retraction you have asked for, and a retraction you now have. (Full disclosure: I am not associated in any way with Tuta, other than having once signed up for a Tuta account in an attempt to migrate away from Gmail, and also I follow Tuta on the Fediverse.)

I fully support your right to object however you want to anything done by Trump or any of its spellings or capitalizations. As to "Jan," though it pains me to do so, I retract any statements that I made as me pretending to be Jan, and I apologize to you and to the fictitious character Jan, that I made up.

@Guillotine_Jones I have already apologized for my post. When she mentioned pushing AI, I thought she was talking about the Private AI app Lumo, which is part of Proton's suite. I meant no harm in the post. I was just mentioning I was switching to Tuta Mail.
