6:30AM: 47F, light rain.

We had a lovely November day yesterday and it looks like another November morn right now.

We sat in the rain and wind yesterday, freezing our asses off, selling baked goods and coffee, but it was worth it. 😍

John swears up & down we had a cold, wet, late spring last year also, that "we were robbed of May." I vaguely remember something like that, but if nothing else, I've learned NOT to trust my weather memory! lol

@SilverSalmonAK May 2025 temperature average was close to normal but about twice the rain of normal.
@AlaskaWx Thanks! (I appreciate you realizing I'm asking for your help. lol) I think rainy days just make it feel colder, hence John's memory.
@SilverSalmonAK as often with rainy weather, daytime temperatures were below normal but overnight near to above normal, so mostly balanced out.
@AlaskaWx @SilverSalmonAK I remember several years ago it was gloomy all summer in Southcentral and it turned out to be one of the warmest summers on record for that very reason: overnights were significantly warmer than normal.
