@EmberDarkpaw you didn't ask but my solution has been to prepare for what I can, settle my affairs and make peace with death. I don't have a bunker of canned beans. I just have some supplies for basic emergencies and plans for if I need to run.

It's amazing how free it feels to just accept death. I'll flirt with it and dance around, edging it until it cries, but I accept it.
