I had trouble eating some home-cooked couscous recently. It was just too dry on its own.

Feeling inspired (or perhaps pulling out a memory of previous experiences with it), I tried eating it with a little bit of sour cream mixed with a bit of olive oil. It made a world of difference.

I didn’t grow up eating it and restaurant eating is often limited. How do you eat couscous?

@helianthropy Never made it at home; in restaurant it would come with other dishes.

I consider it to be similar to rice which needs something wet enough to eat with, yogurt for example in a pinch.
