#Finland opens world's longest bridge intended for bicycle riders, pedestrians + mobility device users, and transit riders (no cars allowed!)

#Helsinki's Kruunuvuori Bridge is 1,191 metres long, and will soon be served by trams.

Presumably such a no-cars/trucks bridge is much cheaper, because the loads are predictable and much lower. You’re never going to get nose-to-tail traffic jams of trams!
