SamI had been tempted by MacBook Neo when it was released even though my M2 MacBook Air is just fine. Then I thought about how I’d probably miss Touch ID a lot, but I’d say the success rate of that lately is 30% at best. Do fingerprints start to fade after age 50 or something?
Matt Large@purplelime they do, Touch ID never worked for my dad. But, would you not get the top Neo model with Touch ID?
@mattlarge I think what makes the Neo compelling is the £599 pricetag, so paying another £100 kinda takes that feeling away. But since my fingers are barely registering lately I think lack of would definitely feel less inconvenient.
