Afghanistan 🇦🇫Mawlawi Abdul Sabur Sabir, head of Balkh’s disaster management authority, told Radio Hurriyet that roads in the Chahar Kanto and Marmal districts of the province were blocked due to last night's rainfall, and efforts to clear them are underway.
According to Sabir, the road to the Marmal district has been cleared, and efforts to clear the road to the Chahar Kanto district are ongoing.
It is worth noting that last night’s rainfall has closed several transportation routes in Balkh province due to landslides and flooding, and hundreds of acres of agricultural land have also been damaged.
