@dahie Absolutely. But is no evidence it's real. If it were, there would be other photos as well as news stories about a massive uptick in residential solar being built is Syria. There are none.

There are no solar panels in the photo you linked to.

This is google maps image from about the place in the picture, zoom in on the marked spot, while I can't say the images are identical there does seem to be a lot of solar panels on the roofs of Aleppo.

If you scroll down about halfway through this article theres another image where the enormous amount of solar panels on the rooftops can be seen, so if it indeed is AI, it's making a fake out of a very real thing.

@Axomamma Not everything that seems impressive is automatically AI; even if the alt-right try to establish this opinion, even if there is real chance this photo is indeed generated: Sometimes it only needs a skilled photographer choosing the right angle.
