Here’s the thing:

Trump & Co. is just a private equity firm forcing a hostile takeover. They are using the strong US Brand to leverage its assets and reduce governmental quality in order to increase their profits while inevitably cheapening the brand.

They just didn’t think people, and importantly We the People, would toss the brand so quickly.
