I'm not sure I'm excited about Virginia's redistricting but I do feel it's kind of a necessary response to a trend that Trump started in Texas and other conservative states. What really stood out to me was the yard signs peppered along route 9 in VA begging people to stop gerrymandering which you know were placed by people who fully supported Trump's gerrymandering.

The practice needs to stop. It's not fair for either side to do it... And yet the next time Trump tries it those same yards will be silent or supportive of gerrymandering.

Trump claims Virginia redistricting election was 'rigged'

The claim, issued without evidence, comes after the state approved new voting maps that could help Democrats flip four House seats.

@bobkmertz unfortunately, at the moment, a judge in Virginia has halted certifying the results of the referendum. It's going to go to state supreme Court, most likely, and they'll have to make a final decision as to whether the vote was valid or not. More waiting.
@cgrymala
Yea that's what the article I linked to is saying. I was just adding my feelings about it.

@bobkmertz Sorry; totally missed the fact that there was a link in your post while I was reading on my phone.

Yeah, I hate the fact that this is even a thing, but if the Rs are going to play as dirty as they are, we can't expect the Ds to play fair; we have to play the game they're playing.
