@wplalonde so that's what they were! Only after seeing that photo I realize I never really knew who made those. I always thought it was ants.

@mdione Bark beetles are pretty neat! (I mean, so are ants, too, though.) I couldn't tell you the specific species from the tracks, but indubitably bark beetles.
