Can anyone #recommend an over ear #headset for max. 100€ wireless or wired? If wired preferred with a USB Sound card. 5.1, 7.1 (virtual) surround sound also isn't really needed.

Should have a mic mute on the headset or wire...

Normal usage #gaming / #meetings.
The current one is a Logitech G432.

@kuraiko Open or closed back? owo
@Rusty dunno?
@kuraiko Open backs are just when your headphones don't have a back on them, they're just open to the surrounding environment. They usually have a nicer high-end and have a nice 'soundstage' so you can hear instrument separation and it does a better job of sounding like the music is in the room with you, but it makes the bass weaker (since it all just bleeds out the back) and there's no sound isolation, so you can hear everyone else and people can hear your music if they're close enough to you. Closed back is what you'd traditionally think of when you think of over the ear headphones.
@Rusty dunno if I ever had open back over ears ^^' so I guess preferable closed back? Open back would be okay too I guess... I usually only use em for calls and gaming at home (I'm not much into multiplayer so don't use em all the time) mhh... or if neighbors are noisy... wait the latter is also a argument for closed back lol ^^'
@kuraiko RTings has pretty good write-ups and top ten lists for stuff like this. I'm not as familiar with what's hot for closed-back headphones at the moment.

@Rusty what would be your recommendation for open back?
@kuraiko For sub-100€ headphones, probably something from the Philips  RTings put the SHP9500 as the best budget headphones, and I have Fidelios (more than 100, but not much) that really punch above their weight.
@Rusty thanks! :3 but they are both headphones only without a mic, right?
@kuraiko The headphone cable is detachable from the headphones, so you can just buy one with an inline mic. I dunno too many headphones that come with one built in unless it's a headset.
@Rusty yeah, which is what I've asked for from the beginning ^^'
