Countless countries had to live alongside child murderers after WWII - Denazification didn't work either

One can only pray that future generations from Gaza/South Lebanon survive the trauma of becoming perpetrators themselves, and, with luck for the region, overcome it -

@timagal Germany is not an illegal project; the legal situation is completely different with the settlement and ethnic cleansing in Palestine since 1948

I see major flaws in such constructs and believe that only legal frameworks that separate the International Humanitarian Law (IHL) from the geopolitical claims of other countries will be effective

We have not prevented genocide, despite all the decrees, and this must not happen again -

@timagal Yes, integrating people into societies has always been a particular challenge! This requires the right structures and education systems from the outset, I believe Professor Ilan Pappé has written a recent book on this topic as Israeli and Anti-Zionist; his assessment is definitely worth reading -

The issue is certainly complex from a moral perspective and, unfortunately, cannot be resolved to everyone's satisfaction in a short time imho

There are qualified legal experts working on this, such as Professor Ralph Wilde et al (..) It is doubtful, however, that a consensus on this will ever be reached

@timagal To do that, one would first have to combat the corrupt cronyism in the EU and the USA, which are boosting their markets through industrial rearmament for economic reasons, secondly, Israel is not an independent state governed by the rule of law; therefore, the state would first have to be dissolved (anyway), incl. all forces

@timagal If I were Palestinian, revenge would be a legitimate sense of justice; many Jews thought the same after 1944 - suffering cannot be sorted, it must be avoided - This cannot be solved with new UN zones or military controls; everyone was involved in these crimes – we all need to reflect, think and act differently
