@henk As it is fun to discuss, I think doing Sub Shape Binders as actual sub, not whole shape binders would make that flow better.
It is more steps as you make it, but when you modify the main sketch in a more fundamental way, how you fix the project is more intuitive:
View the SSB for operation that has failed and see what lines from the main sketch need to be added, select them in the main sketch then drag the main sketch into the SSB. Or select all and ctrl drag into the SSB to replace.
