I found this rack for $3 and I'm excited it fits all my leather craft books. Several are soft covers and fall over often but this will solve that. #books #reuse #repurpose #recycle
The second to bottom shelf has a book called Leatherwork School. This is the most expensive leather reference book I've bought. It cost me $100 but contains excellent, current information. That said, don't buy it. The book above it, The Leatherworking Handbook cost $20, has as much information as Leatherwork School and is far more approachable. If you want to read one book to learn how to work with leather, that is your book. #book #leather
@DevlinLeathercraft There is a slight problem: now that you have the perfect storage item, you'll get more, and before you know it, it won't hold them all!
@sbourne Ha!
Funny enough I am not tempted by other leather books I have seen. They are retreads of what I already have. The only "new" volumes I have procured lately are e-books from scanned copies of very old volumes, so I can review the old methods of construction.
But I am in search of another something that will hold all my issues of Leather Crafter's Journal, a publication I subscribe to. Meanwhile I plan to bind these, like the books on the bottom shelf, by the year of publication.
