Ever wondered, where exactly is Gaia 17bpi??

Welp, Spitzer has you covered!

Located in our #constellation of the month Sagitta, Gaia 17bpi is a young star that nom nommed (that's the technical term, I'm sure) some of the matter around it, causing the star to brighten.

Gaia 17bpi is a member of the FU Orionis class of stars (as an aside: FU orion *is* a thing I think, but that's not what it means here... you can find out more about that on our #orion #mythology pod here: https://starrytimepodcast.podbean.com/e/orion-myths-and-retconstellations/)

@starrytimepod Good to see proper utilization of the bylaws. I employ a similar strategy in legal defenses for my cats
@Zanne if you're not using the by-laws to your advantage -- they're using you! 😂
