TIL that tigers are solitary creatures whilst lions are social and clingy. Good morning!
@TheBreadmonkey Lions are just big orange cats. Tigers are like porcupines. "Don't touch me!"
@TheBreadmonkey I'm the tiger for the first 0-3 months of being friends with someone. After that I become the lion 😁😁
@Theorem_Poem @TheBreadmonkey That's quite a bait and switch!
(I accept snuggles from only a very select group of adults. Kids and cats get a free pass.)
@GinevraCat not so much a bait and switch as much as "this person feels safe" energy TBH @TheBreadmonkey
@TheBreadmonkey the muzik πŸ˜†πŸ˜Ή
@TheBreadmonkey @sybren Annoying extravert clings to introvert. 😁

@TheBreadmonkey

@TheBreadmonkey Will there be liger cubs anytime soon?
@TheBreadmonkey TIL is the acronym for "saw on r/interestingasfuck" πŸ˜‚
@TheBreadmonkey This is how ligers are made
@TheBreadmonkey irgendwie auch nur menschlich
@TheBreadmonkey very nice. I just hop that's not someone's house.
@TheBreadmonkey lion: why won't you let me love you?!
@TheBreadmonkey cheetahs are shy and some zoos give them emotional support dogs iirc and theyre debatably not technically big cats because they meow and purr like small cats. theyre big babies basically

@TheBreadmonkey @briankrebs
Thylacines (Tasmanian tigers/AKA marsupial wolf) were also solitary hunters.

They were made extinct in the mainland by dingos (which were/are pack animals).
They were made extinct by Tasmanian farmers who would pick them off faster than they could reprduce.

Working as a team is a great way to prevent your extinction.
