@pizzacakecomic.com Oh have I seen this to happen! There was a reddit post about women's experience in IT jobs, a guy asking if it's so bad. I gave some examples of things I had encountered, which instantly caused an avalanche of replies ranging from explaining how I obviously had misunderstood blatant sexist comments to ones that basically sided with the assholes in the examples. It was followed by the dog shit tier that swam into my DMs to insult me personally.

I know what kind of posts I won't be answering in the future.
