It was largely that young people (not so gullible, read international news) that came out in force. The whole city centre was a big party, cheering, waving EU & Hu flags, and drinking lots at the bars.

ArchaeoIain@georgetakei I think I am grateful that the US is still playing deadly games with Israel and has its attention diverted from this. Otherwise I would expect them to try to overthrow the duly elected government. After all, they have done that before.
