One airline I really miss is Wardair. They had a massive hanger at YYZ and as a kid I used to go to Terminal 2 and buy some French fries, then ride my bike over to Terminal 1 and go up the ramps to the top of the parking garage (it was located right on top of Terminal 1). It was a fantastic vantage point, and I was always on the lookout for Jumbo Jets! Good times!

Another airline I miss is Canadian Airlines (which acquired Wardair in the 80s I believe). There was a lot of Canadian competition for Air Canada back in the day.

@VA3DSO As a kid I remember flying Canada 3000 to Florida out of London YXU. It seemed shoddy but everything felt that way in the 80s, and people smoked on flights. 🤮
