@djlink I'm confused...why did Chloe have follow-up questions for the internet, but not her cousin, who, presumably, could have cleared up all the misunderstanding directly?

But then, if this is a misunderstanding, why put 'burn' in quotation marks? It implies Chloe did in fact understand the whole time and now I just don't know what to think about any of this.

@4Dboy @djlink She surely understood but wanted to get reactions. Bit I’m sad there was no mention of lasers. We weren’t using some old fire, but burn them with cool lasers.

I would say that she has guessed that burn doesn't mean burn the whole CD, but doesn't know what it does mean.
In answer to her questions:
- was it like a ritual? Yes.
- did it work? If you did the ritual right, yes, sometimes.
