Good night! #3GoodThings
1. Finished a chapter in Braille.
2. Simple sandwiches for supper on a wonderfully warm day.
3. Hubs ordered new bands for my Apple watch. The purple one I had was a stretchy one and the elastic strands were breaking. I have the original sky blue band on now and will change it when the new ones arrive tomorrow. He found an other purple one with velcro like the original one. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

@blindquilter I am replying super-late--found yu thanks to a knitting hashtag. What are you reading, and what are you loom knitting?
@jane_jordan I’m glad you found me! I’m currently reading When Sparks Fly by Sabrina Jefferies, Close Your Eyes by Iris Johansen and Caress of Ice by Nalini Singh. My loom knitting projects right now include a scrap yarn hand towel and a scrap yarn sweater. What are you reading and knitting up? πŸ˜€
@blindquilter I have a cat dishcloth on one set of needes and a dragon dishcloth on another set. I have lots of yarn, and I can't decide what to knit. I have a large s-loom, but it intimidates me, I am so afraid of making a scarf instead of a blanket, it's hard to find the beginning/end and not keep going...I have a few round looms, and I have used them to make scarves and a couple of hats. I only know how to do the knit stitch on the loom though, purl stitch alludes me...
@jane_jordan I had someone show me what to do on the knitting loom but she only showed me the basic e-wrap stitch. I jumped online and found websites and worked until I understood and could do the stitches. I can do the basic e-wrap, the true knit stitch and the purl stitch. I can try to explain the purl stitch if you want me to. The hand towel I’m working on is done in the true knit and purl stitches, although there are a few rows of the e-wrap stitch when I was feeling lazy..
@blindquilter I don't know what e-wrap is. I wrap the yarn around each loop once, from back to front and I go around the loom to my right. Then I start wrapping a loop on each peg and lifting the bottom loop over the top off the loom one peg at a time. Then I repeat. That's all I have figured out.....
@blindquilter I fgorgot to tell what I am reading. I have two Braille books going and am trying to decide what comfort audiobook I want.
I am reading _The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress_ and _Gone with the Wind_ in Braille. I plan on starting _The Hobbit- soon though because it's close to the time when Bilbo Baggins starts his adventure to the Lonely Mountain! And I want, jsut once, to read the whole series of The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings books this year....
