I saw a comment that made sense. Rather than banning kids from social media because it’s harmful, why not regulate social media because it’s harmful.

@dtm Because its whole purpose has become harm, we're just slightly queasy when the victims are kids. We're not going to throw away the psy-ops distribution just because sometimes it eats a kid.

@dtm The simple reason (and I know that was a rhetorical question) is that kids don’t have a powerful lobby and billions to buy politicians.
