@odoruhako #BikeTooter #bikeporn The Persuader bar from US brand Tumbleweed. When we put together this Nordest Sardinha in 2021 during the Pandemic we struggled getting some bars. I wanted a propper backsweep, because all those reviews hit my type of thinking. I had tested some alt bar stuff in the early 00‘s but stopped biking until 2012 when moving here. But we were not able to get a wide bar with backsweep back then. Now it was the time to eliminate this flaw.
@Jay23Jay Nice! Is it the 20 or 30° backsweep one?
I've been trying the Nitto Country Bar with 27°, but currently using one from SQlab with 16° I think, and that feels perfect.
(So obviously you should ride the mountainbike today. 😉)
@odoruhako it is 20 degrees. As I started on this shitty 16 degree 700mm riser bar from Ergotech it is clear to me that the degrees are only right if you put the length of the bar and the drivers seating into account. 16 degrees on 700mm with a sporty seating are too much backsweep. But it is as Stridsland says 20 degrees 840mm and a more upright position are the sweet spot for playing in the woods. Ride slow, die whenever. For everything else: Drop bars. Downhill is not my stuff
