Vice Pres. Hubert Humphrey did not want to show much distance between himself and his Pres. Lyndon Johnson, @ginaintheburg. Humphrey lost the presidential election to Richard Nixon. Kamala Harris should have learned from that example instead of repeating Humphrey's mistakes.

@hannaB Someone can always learn from the past. Different eras include ancient Rome, and we can still learn lessons from events then.
