E-bike advocates say new speed limits, set to come into effect from July 1, go against current guidelines and could create unsafe situations.

The only road I can take to the train station is 70 km/h, and full of monster utes and SUVs.

I also won't ride on paths, because 10 km/h is not doable, and I don't want $500 fine for riding 21+ km/h.
