Tomorrow, on April 12th, #Hungary elects its national assembly, which then will elect the country's prime minister. There is a real chance Victor #Orbàn won't get another turn of being PM, but Péter #Magyar will be voted in.

Politico calls it "this year's most consequential election in the #EU." Hungary will alao be better off without him!

Fingers crossed 🤞

Hungary: 5 key questions about the EU’s most important election of 2026

Hungarians head to the polls in April — and, unusually, someone besides PM Viktor Orbán has a chance to win.

POLITICO

@erhardt Indeed, good luck to Hungarians, this is certainly the most consequential election in their lifetimes, hope they have a good day for a change.

I won't even argue with #PoliticoIsTrash about overinflating the ego of their #Dreamer2 yet again and granting him a status he does not have in Europe (the Italian referendum was quietly likely more important for the rest of the EU), but I hope Mathias Döpfner has a miserable day tomorrow, along with everyone at Axel Springer.
