I'm a 30-something #asexual #lesbian.

I've been struggling on and off for a while with some really miserable thoughts; exactly the ones you'd expect me to have. I'd really appreciate someone to talk to, especially a woman older than me.

I'm not on Facebook (and can't join, thx Meta) and completely isolated from other queer people; local queer groups are for kids or not functional.

I'm not in any danger.

@carmenlisandrette I’m mid-40s heteroromantic asexual (among the least obvious types of queer, thought I was just a prude for most of my life). Happy to chat, I keep eastern US hours though. I’m on Signal? Same name with .45 at the end.

@LisaMaesie actually, apparently you can't use Signal without a phone. If you have some other way of chatting , still keen :)

Or, heck, email. Man how is that the last thing I think of? Aforementioned Gmail. Hah.

I saw an article recently that messaging with random strangers is better for mental health than AI!
