@mrmasterkeyboard the amount of lesbian couples i know where both partners are incredibly talented programmers suggests the effect is very positive
@lumi hmm... that is useful feedback... hmmm...
@mrmasterkeyboard What happened to inspire you to conduct such survey? xD

@mrmasterkeyboard how would Yuri effect code at all

Yuri doesn't code

@spycrab aaa but what about yuri in code or people who are in a lesbian relationship!

@mrmasterkeyboard lesbians aren't Yuri just like gays aren't yaoi.

How would Yuri be on code? It's books, silly

@spycrab i know, this is all for a joke anyway, i had joked with a friend about a research paper about the effects of yuri on code quality
@spycrab @mrmasterkeyboard I beg to differ. @cyan and I are definitely yuri.
@lina @spycrab @cyan the fact that Lina has seen this astonishes me. I feel honoured honestly.
@lina @spycrab @cyan I should probably do so too. Maybe. I dunno.
@lina @spycrab @cyan Also, really unrelated, but I really like the whole coding vtuber thing and one I day I kind of want to do what you do. Just not under this username though, I'll have a totally different identity for this.

@mrmasterkeyboard Curiously enough, yuri can inspire someone to write code! At least in my case. I’ve written some yuri-inspired code, even though I have virtually no programming experience. It’s an utility tool for making an unofficial translation of a certain yuri game, if you’d like to know. Maybe it’s not such a big deal, but at least it works for me!

However, It’s hard to tell whether yuri had a positive or negative impact on the quality of that code, as it affected its very existence. (And I don’t have proper skills to judge its quality.) Should I just call the whole process an yuri-driven development?

@sakasama

> Should I just call the whole process an yuri-driven development?

yuri ~~plot~~ code development

edit: oh wait shit how do i cross out stuff again, can i even do that here?

@mrmasterkeyboard I am confused. How would japanese animated gay media influence code quality?
@mrmasterkeyboard

Odd results. I have voted:" Yuri doesn't impact code quality in any way. "Because I believe someone's gender, sexuality, or self determined identity does not change their work. Coding is a learned skill and your gender, sexuality, and however you identity does not make you better or worse.
@Linux yeah this entire poll was a joke with a friend of mine
