For those who wondered, yes, the “news” about GIMP finally supporting EGA 16-colour mode was an April Fool joke, along with the new memory-efficient 0-bit coluor mode.
Plasma 6.6 is now live!
In Plasma 6.6, Spectacle can read texts from screenshots; we trial-run our very own on-screen keyboard for touchscreens; and we have a new first-time wizard that let's users configure their passwords, timezones, keyboard and networks, on preinstalled systems; among many, many more marvelous things.
Guess what? I graduated from university with a computer science degree! Yay me!

I've decided to stop using the Workman keyboard layout. Not that it is inferior than QWERTY... the opposite actually. It's because I've noticed that it is a lot more uncomfortable on using keyboard shortcuts than in QWERTY.
Another reason is that I fear the day when I need to use other computers (especially the ones that are locked down by an IT departement) and I can't type in QWERTY anymore...
So yeah... I think I'm gonna stick to QWERTY.

I really need to make a #Linux distro that recreates how #Ubuntu felt in 10.10-17.04...
Who'd be up for that? (no promises of it actually happening ofc.)
(And yes, I'm aware Ubuntu Unity exists. No, I don't like it and I don't care. They changed too much and it doesn't even feel like proper Unity anymore.)
