Ottawa River MUP Report:

-Mostly clear but with patches of snow and ice of various sizes from the New Orchard to Churchill underpasses.

-After Churchill, where the pathway goes into a more forested area, it looked all snow covered, but I didn't go that far.

Ottawa River MUP Report:

-Only TWO path crossing patches of snow between New Orchard and Churchill. A couple smaller piles. Wouldn't be surprised if it's all clear by tomorrow.

-Beyond Churchill looked covered in the treed area but it had that melting look to it.

-So Many Robins

Ottawa River MUP Report:

-War Museum to New Orchard TWO snow patches.

-One just west of Remic Rapids (you can go around it)

-The other near the east entrance to the wooded patch just west of Island Park (go over it).

Ottawa River MUP Report:

-Clear between New Orchard (and so effectively the War Museum) and Beachconers. It is #OttBike to ice cream season.

-Britannia Park looked clear but I didn't go that far on my run.

#OttBike #OttRun

-No longer any path-spanning snow or ice patches (on the main/through path, some side paths do have them still).

-Commute is faster and less stressful being away from drivers, despite being ~15% longer.

One note, the new underpass at Churchill was starting to flood yesterday afternoon. I *hate* that new active transportation infrastructure seems built to flood. I imagine the Cleary underpass, whenever it opens, will also have that issue.
@dairpo I wonder if the cost to raise the area to avoid flooding was so much that it wasn't "affordable".
@WTL @dairpo Nobody could have predicted the weather getting weirder! [/sarc]

@WTL @Cassandra And I mean the Ottawa River freshet isn't an annual event, right? πŸ™ƒ
