Us: They collect data, ALL the data. They try to watch everything. They are building a Panopticon that has zero respect for privacy. Their CEO has stated that privacy no longer matters.

@nuintari @hacks4pancakes I found that telling people "They've literally named themselves after the seeing stones of Evil in the Lord of the Rings. Their long-term goal is to be the Eye of Sauron." tends to strike a chord. Even non-fans have probably seen the movies and understand the reference.
