Abortion opponents are increasingly frustrated with the Trump administration's reluctance to restrict access to abortion pills. This week, a judge turned down the Louisiana attorney general's request to block telehealth prescriptions that keep the drugs flowing into her state and a dozen others that have banned abortion at all stages of pregnancy. Now, the attorney general is taking her legal battle against the Food and Drug Administration to an appeals court. The FDA says it's working on a review of the rules around mifepristone, but it takes time. Trump was a champion of anti-abortion groups when he nominated Supreme Court justices who were instrumental in allowing state bans.
