It’s painful to see every premium, service, and subscription in my life increase on a yearly basis, but even the thought of raising prices of our own apps and subscriptions make me feel like a criminal (not to mention super risky for a tiny company to do). So here I am feeling like the value of my dollar just continues to decrease.

(Just a thought as I get an email from YouTube premium saying my sub price is increasing next month.)

@mark We subscribers vote with our wallets. That’s why Netflix is $30 a month, which is ridiculous, even for its highest tier. Companies will stop when they loose subscribers.

As for small companies like Tapbots, for me, there is a big difference in knowing that it’s made by three people who have families, animals, and dreams vs a CEO who makes questionable decisions about media and makes. few million a year.
