@stooovie I'm editing a project and the footaget: MP4, 2560X1440, 60FPS is sending FCP into a craze. Usually edit with "tell me about dropping frames if its disc IO thing," but the footage I have seemed to be doing it and sure enough, when I toggled "just tell me when frames drop" I got a bunch of messages.
Why does an M4 MAX with 128 GB struggle with things?
This was fixed by converting to optimized media, but my 10GB of Clips ballooned with PR422. Next time I'll try LT, but this is dumb.
