I used to live opposite a Library of Stuff, which was amazing. Anything you might use a handful of times and don't need to buy: pressure washers, 10mm drill bits, disco equipment and tents, carpet cleaners. I only stopped living opposite it when they had to move to bigger premises to store more stuff. Amazing initiative.

I first remember going to libraries when I was maybe 3, we borrowed a rocking horse my 2 year old sister used to dislocate my thumb. Still loved the place! Then grew up with normal libraries, and as an adult ran the science section of a bookshop where I introduced good entry level microscopes as another thing. Love this :)

Parttimesailor@Sheril too cool! I remember as a sixth grader in the last century how curriculum enrichment made a big hit for me.
