One of your characters is seeing something unbelievable. What is it and why are they seeing it?
Kira develops a very interesting condition, after the merge with Ashlei. She starts to get sensory issues from the sensor inputs of the Ghoz'Tarc. Since seeing is the most dominant trait, the majority of humanity rely on and thus, as a sub evolution of humans, Terrans. It's probably a misread of her brain of something the ships sensor phalanx registered.
Imagine seeing ultra red and violet light, or particle waves. Usually it doesn't happen if she is using her body's senses (being awake as an example) and mostly happens if she rests depending on the backflow of data, this might end up in a very rough night.

Arkham: Yes
Ashlei: not really since she can end a process if she wants to.
