this dice system would work better in a low fantasy meatgrinder game where your pcs are actually casting bone dice and fondling entrails to receive a sign from the gods
that's what it feels like
i can just see this in a session: a critical roll occurs
all the players lean forward. they stare at the dice. in unison they all look up to stare at the referee
the ref starts to sweat
it's good that my pc with 5 agility has used literally zero agility based skills so far
well done my guy
also no one's died yet which is great
it's not as hard to roll up characters in the ffg version compared to d20 for sure tho
granted, ffg skews hard toward narrative non-death so pretty hard to die unless everyone agrees It Be Death
that said i'm doing scum and villainy shit, so
actually 5 critical injuries lol
death starts at 141 and up
also it's funny that "knocked senseless" is sandwiched between horrific, gruesome injuries and literal death
i would rather get knocked out thanks xD
ur face blind boy figured it out
jyn erso kinda looks like aragorn at some angles lol
me: "actually it's hard to die in sw ffg even tho this is a scum & villainy campaign"
also me, a few hours later: *fighting on the beaches of scarif*
it was my fault. i shoulda given them xp and upgrades before this xD
ah well
it's so weird* how the guy in actual armor took the least damage!
(*not weird at all)
i tried to save cassian but he fell like in the movie and sw ffg fall damage don't play around
it was fated
these guys literally tell me cost for a liter of bacta, cost for a tank, time to heal a wound, but nothing about how much bacta is required
so these numbers are completely disconnected
it's like telling you how big a car's fuel tank is, the price of fuel, and not knowing the mileage
*mpg
whatever
fucking book!
@worthlessbums That's why you do what all my characters do.
'liberate' some droids.
