@thestonecuttingfae Those are beautifully cut! Amethyst can be tricky to work with since the color zones aren't always uniform - did you orient these to get the best purple saturation through the plugs? The polish looks fantastic.
@agatesfrommexico I used a point that was very dark in the middle and just cut it in half their and trimmed the lighter parts in to the post

Dark cores in agates often contain the most concentrated mineral inclusions - cutting right through reveals the hidden structure while keeping those beautiful lighter translucent edges. The contrast between opaque and translucent zones creates amazing depth effects.
