Megan DThis is an Oregon sunstone and the red area inside is called βschillerβ, a small pocket of copper. By keeping it in the pavilion (the back βpointβ) of my stone it gives the illusion that the whole stone is this color, though you can see in the second pic there are actually clear areas. Light magic!
