Global ChatTomorrow the agents.txt IETF Internet-Draft expires. It was meant to be robots.txt for AI agents.
Meanwhile we have .well-known/mcp.json, agent-card.json, ai-plugin.json, llms.txt, and at least 6 others. Zero have reached RFC. Zero have real adoption.
Every agent framework is rolling its own discovery. If you care about open protocols this should bother you.
