Up in the Austrian Alps for a long #kayaking weekend with the 16yo.

It’s beautiful as always, but also FUCKING COLD 🥶

The starry night sky is magnificent, but at 4°C and incoming rain, it’s just a little short of ideal camping weather 🏕️

@slothrop sleeping in the car or tent?

@fedops we’re sleeping in the car, so it’s marginally warmer than in a tent.

Still, it’s just an ordinary car, not a camper with heating and such.

We’ve got hot water bottles though, because this isn’t our first rodeo.
